Parents whose children have benefitted from the free hernia repair surgery conducted by a team of doctors from Harare at Victoria Chitepo Provincial Hospital this week have commended the Ministry of Health and Child Care and its development partners for the service. Meanwhile, the health institution's medical superintendent Dr Dorcas Masanga-Mutede said the initiative served the surgical and anaestatic care needs in the community. The surgical camp is being done with financial and technical assistance from the Government of Japan, World Health Organisation, UNICEF, Celebration Health and Smile Train International.
