Mr Seenza said they have put adequate preparations in case of floods as they have reactivated the district civil protection committees and revisited their evacuation centers to increase preparedness.
“We are on high alert after the Met Department alert. We have also approached the security sector for mobilisation of resources,”
“We have already identified evacuation centres, but the full details of the evacuation centres are in my office and we have more evacuation centres in Chimanimani, Chipinge and Mutare districts,”Seenza said.
He added that now that schools are about to open there is need to establish more evacuation centers in the province.
