PRESIDENT Emmerson Mnangagwa says attainment of Vision 2030 of a prosperous and empowered upper middle income economy requires raising production and productivity and that it can only be achieved if Zimbabweans are united and peaceful. He made the remarks in his State of the Nation Address and official opening of the 5th session of the 9th Parliament at the new parliament building in Mt Hampden this afternoon, as he set the Government’s legislative agenda for the coming session. He further said Zimbabwe’s engagement and reengagement thrust continues to bear fruit, with diplomatic missions having been refocused towards economic diplomacy and diaspora engagement to attracting investment.
