Mutare City Council has commended aid they received from the ZimFund in rehabilitating and provision of equipment for the Odzani Water Treatment Plant where water is disinfected before it is supplied to all parts of city. City Engineer Maxwell Kerith says the equipment which was procured to the tune of US$92 000 will go a long way in easing the process of chlorinating water, thereby curbing erratic water supplies to residents. Mutare City Council also supplies water to areas surrounding the city such as Mutasa district, where the Odzani water treatment plant is situated.
