Mabika Secondary school teacher appears in court for smuggling a motorcycle

37-year-old Mabika Secondary school teacher recently appeared in court for smuggling a motorcycle through Forbes Border Post from Mozambique.

Shadreck Ngodza pleaded guilty when he appeared before Mutare Magistrate Prisca Manhibi. The court heard that on 16 September 2022 detectives received information that the accused was in possession of the smuggled Lifan motor cycle and the accused was caught and failed to produce documents relating to payment of duty at the border leading to his arrest. Prosecutor Thurston Mubvumbi presided over the case, while Ngodza has been remanded in custody awaiting sentencing.
