Zimbabwe National Water Authority drilled three boreholes at Chisuma goat centre in Chipinge district to assist in the provision of clean water for goat production. Chipinge district livestock specialist Mr John Mwandifura said the boreholes also serve to supply water to horticulture and aquaculture projects being done by villagers who were failing to boost their projects due to inadequate water supply. Under the Presidential Rural Horticulture Scheme, ZINWA will drill and install 35 000 boreholes in a development that will see each of the 35 000 villages countrywide having a borehole drilled by 2025.
