Parents in Manicaland who live near water bodies have been urged to safeguard their children during the forthcoming rainy season, to curb cases of children who drown during this period. Manicaland Police Spokesperson Inspector Nobert Muzondo said summer time is usually characterized with an increase in drowning cases mainly of minors, urging parents to constantly check their children’s whereabouts to avoid loss of lives.
