Manicaland Provincial Education Director Mr Edward Shumba says the ministry of primary and secondary education is working on ensuring inclusivity in schools to accommodate learners from vulnerable backgrounds and those with disabilities. He also lamented the shortage of special needs' teachers in the province, adding that plans are on course to capacitate educators on braille and sign language use, further warning parents against denying their children access to education, saying it is a criminal offence. The ministry recently rolled out community outreach fairs aimed at improving learners' access to education.
