Zimbabwe has been applauded for making strides towards alignment of laws to accommodate people with disability. Speaking during a disability Champion Training Workshop, Quadriplegics and Paraplegics Association of Zimbabwe programs officer Courage Nenduva said the development is commendable, adding that in-line with disability inclusion and empowerment, efforts have to be channeled towards capacitating communities and removing barriers that hinder this development. Tariro Foundation of Zimbabwe Trust Director Mr Godfrey Dzveta echoed same sentiments saying advocacy for the rights of the disabled has to start at household level.
