People with disabilities are set to benefit from poverty-reduction health budget workshop to be facilitated by a local organisation this Thursday.

In an interview, Poverty Reduction Forum Trust Programs Officer Nyasha Nyatondo said the meeting mainly aims at assessing the extent of barriers in accessing health services and exploring the impact of marginalization on people with disabilities in health service decision-making processes. Last year, Poverty Reduction Forum Trust in collaboration with the Zimbabwe Statistical Agency (Zimstat) conducted a research on Access to Health Services by People with Disabilities in Mutare and Mutasa districts of Manicaland Province.
