Buhera residents bemoan shortage of electricity

Buhera residents have expressed concerns over lack of electricity in some areas citing unavailability of transformers as the cause. In an interview, Buhera Residents Network Trust Coordinator Leonard Mabasa mentioned a number schools without transformers saying the situation has more than a year now further calling on responsible authorities to address this issue. The Second Republic has made it a priority for rural electrification as well as promoting the use of ICT equipment at rural schools to bridge the digital divide.
