Stakeholders work done in disaster areas appreciated by government

Government has appreciated work being done by various stakeholders in response to disasters in Manicaland, saying disaster risk reduction is everyone’s responsibility. In a speech delivered on his behalf by Director Local governance, Mr Peter Ngorima during the Manicaland provincial civil protection committee stakeholder meeting in Mutare yesterday, Manicaland Permanent Secretary Mr Edgars Seenza further called for collaborations between key stakeholder to ensure local communities are capacitated with disaster risk reduction skills. Meanwhile research reveals that Chipinge, Chimanimani and Buhera districts a most prone to disaster shocks and effects.
