The Ministry of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services says deliverables in the sustainable Development goals are aligned to those in Vision 2030 being implemented under the National development strategy 1 with aim to attain an upper middle income society by 2030, leaving on one and place behind. In His keynote address during a UN Media workshop on development reporting in Mutare yesterday, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry, Mr Nick Mangwana said government and national developmental thrust is in tandem with SDGs under which all member states are called to promote prosperity and protect the environment so as not to compromise future generations. He further said public access to information is key in development, urging journalists to continue reporting on developmental issues in national interests.
