Several journalists in Manicaland received training on proper dissemination of Covid 19 Vaccine promotion with assistance from Action Against Hunger in partnership with Africa Ahead. In an interview with Diamon, AAH Health Advisor Prosper Nyabani said as key stakeholders, journalists will assist to fight misinformation that surrounds Covid 19 vaccination programs with the hope that this will help the country reach its herd immunity. He added that a monitoring exercise will be carried out to see the work that will be done by journalists in support of vaccine uptake in Manicaland Province.
