A 19 year old Mutema boy recently got arrested for stabbing a 36 year old man from the same village following a misunderstanding.
Manicaland Acting Police Spokesperson Assistant Inspector Wiseman Chinyoka confirmed the incident saying Amal Mundondo from Paidamoyo Dzingire village under chief Mutema stabbed Kangai Jimu from Macha village under chief Mutema after he had accused him of showing off at a local bottle store.
Inspector Chinyoka said Kangai was stabbed several times from behind whilst he was on his way home resulting in him sustaining serious injuries.
He added that Kangai was assisted by Amal’s father Misheck who attended to him and was admitted at Chipinge district hospital where he was later transferred to Victoria Chitepo provincial hospital. Currently AmaI is assisting the police with investigations.
