SDI urges responsible authorities to avail ICT equipment in schools

The Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education says only 25 primary schools out of the 75 in Chimanimani district have internet connectivity which is increasingly becoming a fundamental in modern day education systems.

Speaking at a meeting held in Chimanimani recently, Acting District Schools Inspector Chanyau Michael urged responsible authorities to avail more ICT equipment to enhance the competence based curriculum in schools in the district. He added that present day learners are an online population, calling for parents and schools to support them with the requisite gadgets and internet services
