Chipinge South cotton farmers have started delivering their produce to local depots, as the white gold harvesting season gains momentum.

In an interview, Chipinge South Legislator Hon Enock Porusingazi said despite the farmers recording a low harvest due to erratic rainfall experienced this summer cropping season, most farmers opted to put their produce for commercial use. Government has revived the Cotton Industry by issuing free inputs to farmers under the Presidential Inputs Scheme, and under the facility farmers are given seed, fertilisers and chemicals for free.
