Villagers appeal for the rehabilitation of South Down Chambuta Border road

Villagers in Chipinge Ward 8 are appealing to the government to rehabilitate the South Down Chambuta Border road to increase trade in the area.

In an interview, Ward Councilor Willard Munoko said the road which links Zimbabwe and Mozambique through South Down Chambuta Border is in bad state and motorist are now charging exorbitant fees hence they are calling for government to provide subsidized transport with the provisions of ZUPCO transport facility in the area. Government of Zimbabwe is committed to promote, maintain and expand mutually advantageous trade and trade relations with foreign countries and businesses.
