A local Christian non-profit making organization has been applauded for offering free leadership training to residents at Tongogara Refugee Camp in Chipinge where 120 of whom graduated Advanced Diploma and Diploma in Leadership yesterday. Speaking on the side lines of the graduation ceremony camp administrator, Johannes Mhlanga said that these trainings would assist in developing and transforming Tongogara Refugee Camp into a modern service centre.
Meanwhile, Emit representative and the organization’s Chief Operations Officer Johan Fourie urged the graduates to use the leadership skills they have attained to transform their community and training other leaders.
The 4-year program which started in 2016 and was supposed to end in 2020 but delayed by Covid 19 was offered free of charge by Emit.
