Young women in rural Nyanga have been challenged to venture into farming to improve their livelihoods as government moves towards the transformation of remote areas.

In an interview held at her farm in Nyanga yesterday award winning master farmer, Patricia Nyakwana said it is through hard work that she won the prize, further appreciating K2 seed marketing for assisting her in producing hybrid maize and other produce.

The major purpose of field days is to introduce farmers, agricultural professionals, local leaders to new farming technologies and techniques.
