Horticulture farmers in Ward 29 Mukwada, Mutare district have appealed for the provision of inputs as preparations for the horticultural cropping season in their area commence. Zimbabwe Farmers Union Chairperson Mutare District Eric Betera said following the total write off of their maize crop due to high temperatures, farmers have resorted to start preparing for horticultural produce all in an effort to sustain themselves. He further emphasized on the need for implementation of poultry projects through assistance from local stakeholders.
