Livestock farmers in Chipinge who received maize and sorghum under the presidential input scheme for silage have been encouraged to start preparing following the recent rains received in their area. Chipinge Livestock Officer Mr John Mwandifura said silage is best processed with adequate rainfall and will be stocked for future use as the area might be faced with shortage of pastures for livestock owing to high temperatures experienced this year.
