Sanitary wear for Tsvingwe Primary girls

Minister for Provincial Affairs in Manicaland says there is need to promote and protect the rights of the child, particularly the girl child in Zimbabwe.

Speaking during the handover ceremony of sanitary wear at Tsvingwe Primary School today Honorable Nokuthula Matsekenyeri said different initiatives and laws have to be in effect to ensure that the girl child receives adequate healthcare. She also further expressed concerns over the cases of child marriages and child pregnancies in the province applauding the police for working tirelessly to fight such practices. The 1000 pad campaign was spearheaded by Hillcrest College students and facilitated by Mutasa South Shadow Minister Honerable Misheck Mugadza.
