Dry spells in Buhera

Villagers in Buhera Central have embarked on community based nutrition gardens to alleviate hunger in the district as the dry spell continues. Those that spoke to Diamond fm said they are no longer expecting any yield in this summer cropping season: Meanwhile Buhera Central legislator Dr Matthew Nyashanu commended government for the program on distribution of food to the vulnerable and the elderly through the department of Social welfare in the district.
