At least 431 people in Chipinge District have embarked on beekeeping project with the aim to sustain their livelihoods. Chipinge District Livestock Officer Mr John Mwandifura said they are now targeting to have a honey processing and packaging machinery with ready markets adding that they are set to train youths to also join the income generating project. He further urged villagers to desist from cutting down trees saying this will affect the project as they rely on trees for bees’ shelter.
