Manicaland schools urged to bank money daily

Police in Manicaland have urged schools in the province to bank their money on a daily basis to avoid losses through robberies. This follows an incident which occurred at Mount Dangare Primary School in Piki Village under Chief Zimunya, where a security guard, Kuratidza Machiri was attacked by 8 armed robbers who later vandalised the school's cash box and got away with 41USD and $1885RTGS. Machiri was later rescued by the school head, Mauswa Jonakisi who resides close to the school. Police spokesperson Assistant Inspector Wiseman Chinyoka confirmed the incident
