Preparation for the Macadamia nuts marketing season have begun despite the rain fed crop being affected by climate change. Chipinge District Horticultural Specialist Mr Charles Mhandu said they are expecting only macadamia farmers under irrigation scheme to receive a bumper harvest, further encouraging farmers who are not under irrigation scheme to invest in preparation for the next season. He added that at least 150 commercial farmers ventured into Macadamia farming with 4000 hectares having been planted under the crop
