No to drinking unsafe water

The Ministry of health and child care has advised people to desist drinking water from unprotected sources to curb cholera and diarrhoea. In an interview Provincial Health Promotions Officer, Mrs Sophia Nezandonyi encouraged the boiling of water before consumption to ensure safety, especially for those using unprotected wells. According to Zimbabwe multi-sectoral cholera elimination plan, across the globe an estimated four million cholera cases and over 140,000 deaths are reported each year.
