Calls for construction of strong houses

Calls continue to be made for construction of houses that can withstand harsh weather conditions. Speaking after an assessment tour of Chidazembe Village in Mutasa Ward 20, Red Cross Provincial Manager, Munyaradzi Chikukwa encouraged people in the area whose houses were destroyed by the recent tropical storm Ana to build back better saying most structures collapsed due to lack of adequate building materials like cement. Ward 20 village headman Victor Nyakurimwa echoed same sentiments saying at least 21 houses were destroyed in the area
