Mwanyisa community villagers in Ward 24 Checheche have collaborated in the construction of a local clinic from their own monetary contributions. Ward 24 Councillor Wishes Hama said since it is a rural community not all families are able to make their contributions due to financial constraints and as a result, it is delaying the progress in completing the clinic. In rural areas, health service centers are far away from those they are supposed to serve, leading people to travel long distances to access health services.
