Chipinge cotton farmers on verge of incurring loss

Cotton farmers in Chipinge are on the verge of incurring huge losses due to infestation of the crop by pests which have already destroyed several hectares of the white gold. One of the affected farmers says that some of the pest are feeding on plant sap and transmitting diseases in the process thereby causing plants to wilt. He further called on the government for assistance in the form pesticides and pest resistant cotton seed varieties
