Government has committed to re-allocate maize seed to farmers under Pfumvudza and Command Agriculture whose maize were affected by moisture stress. Zimbabwe Farmers Union Secretary General Paul Zakaria said farmers can visit their local depots and collect short season varieties without any form of payments. He added that assessments are being conducted by Agritex Officers countrywide on affected areas.
