Luke Nyabadza on hunt by police

Police in Manicaland are appealing to members of the public for information that may lead to the arrest of Luke Nyabadza for murder and attempted murder allegations. Acting Manicaland Provincial Spokesperson Assistant Inspector Wiseman Chinyoka confirmed the incident saying Luke Nyabadza of Tsimambiri Village under Headman Sahumani in Chief Mutasa’s area killed his mother Anna Nyabadza (81) and attacked his wife, Sibusisiwe Masiyakurima (25), leaving her battling for her life on Christmas eve.The two were later found by their neighbour Nokuthula Manyawu (29) who then alerted other villagers who broke open the door and rushed Masiyakurima to Hauna District Hospital before she was transferred to Victoria Chitepo Provincial Hospital in Mutare. The body of the deceased was inspected for external injuries, and a deep large cut across the left side of the head was observed. The matter was reported at Ruda Police Station and police attended the scene together with homicide detectives from Nyanga. The body was ferried to Victoria Chitepo Provincial Hospital for post mortem.
