ALL IS SET FOR THE ZANU PF PROVINCIAL ELECTIONS TO BE HELD TODAY FROM 7 AM TO 5 PM IN THE AFTERNOON WITH THE PARTY’S POLITBURO MEMBERS AND SOME SENIOR OFFICIALS DEPLOYED THROUGHOUT THE COUNTRY TO SUPERVISE THE POLLS. ADDRESSING A MEDIA CONFERENCE AT THE RULING PARTY’S HEADQUARTERS IN HARARE YESTERDAY, ZANU-PF NATIONAL POLITICAL COMMISSAR MIKE BIMHA APPEALED TO ALL MEMBERS OF THE PARTY TO RESPECT THE RULES AND REGULATIONS GOVERNING THE ELECTIONS. MEANWHILE DR BIMHA SAID AT LEAST 15 CANDIDATES HAVE BEEN DISQUALIFIED FROM PARTICIPATING. DR BIMHA SAID HE CANNOT DISCLOSE NAMES OF THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN DISQUALIFIED AS HE IS NOT SURE WHETHER THE CANDIDATES HAVE ALREADY BEEN INFORMED OR NOT.
