Cotton farmers across the country have formed a trust in an effort to advocate for their welfare in the wake of the inability by The parastatal to pay them their dues in the past two seasons. In an interview with the Acting Trust Chair, Hon Paul Mangwana, Cotton Council of Zimbabwe, said it had already engaged the company and was hopeful that the new year would bring good tidings. Lately cotton farmers have had a raw deal from the company as it failed to pay them in time and at times, paying them in kind through food vouchers.
