Plan Germany donates ICT equipment to Chogombwe Primary School

A local organization has been applauded for complimenting government efforts to avail ICT equipment in rural areas to bridge the technological divide between urban and rural schools after it donated 15 Computers and other ICT accessories at Chigombwe Primary School. Speaking as he officially handed over a computer laboratory with the equipment at the school yesterday, Provincial Education Director Mr Edward Shumba urged Chigombwe community to jealously guard the equipment donated by Plan Germany for the continuous benefit of learners who enroll at the institution. Meanwhile Plan Germany Programs Manager, Willard Nengomasha said the donation at Chigombwe; which is a pilot program is meant to enable learners to advance their education through the efficient use of ICT equipment.
