Lumpy Skin Disease Vaccination


The Veterinary Services department in Manicaland has commenced the lumpy skin disease vaccination program to protect cattle against the disease in their routine animal husbandry activity.

Speaking to Diamond fm Chief animal health inspector for Manicaland Mr Roy Dube said the vaccination which is going to cover all parts of the District is expected to be complete in the next two weeks. He further urged farmers to be on the lookout and report any cases of outbreaks to the nearest Veterinary Service authorities.
