Chipinge residents have made an appeal for government to increase the number of doctors operating at the district’s referral hospital. Town Community Association (CTCA) Chairperson Mr Amato Rungano says that only two doctors are serving a population of more than 347 000 in the district, a situation he described as worrisome amid the Covid 19 pandemic Meanwhile, Deputy Minister of Health and Child Care DR John Mangwiro says plans are on course to deploy at least 6 doctors at district hospitals and 20 specialists at provincial hospitals country wide.
