Local lawyer expresses concern over water cuts as a health hazard

A local lawyer has expressed concern over unwarranted water supply cuts being done by the local authority for Mutasa Rural District council and Mutare residents. Mutasa South ZANU PF Shadow Member of parliament Cde Misheck Mugadza said cutting water supply for residents during the covid19 era poses serious health hazards, further highlighting that denial of the right to water contravenes section 77 of the constitution which entitles every person to safe, clean and potable water. Meanwhile residents in Mutare have raised concern following sudden water rationing by the City of Mutare including places in the Central Business district
