Civic organization and individuals have expressed their views on the election reform changes that have been implemented since 2018. In an interview with Diamond FM on the sidelines of an electoral reform engagement meeting held by Zimbabwe Electoral Support Network (ZESN) in Mutare yesterday, ZESN Senior Advocacy for Electoral Reform Officer Heather Koga, said Zimbabwe Electoral Commission should recruit more youths, who make up two thirds of the population in Zimbabwe, to inspire their peers to participate in the electoral process. The Zimbabwe Electoral Support Network formed in 2000 is a coalition of 37 non-governmental organizations formed to co-ordinate activities pertaining to elections. The major focus of the Network is to promote democratic processes in general and fair elections in particular.
