Mutare Remand Prison receives a donation of poultry farming inputs

Mutare Remand Prison received a donation of poultry inputs from the Davis Munos Foundation under the Poultry Farming Rehabilitation and Incubation program launched yesterday.  Dave Munos Foundation Ambassador Ngonidzashe Dapira said the donation is meant to enhance poultry farming skills among inmates to be equipped with life skills that will keep them busy and less tempted to re-offend after serving time. The inmates received 100 day old chicks, starter and finisher feed, feeding trays, lamps and medication for the birds as well as a batch of chickens will be divided among Lerato Children’s home, Kudavana Children’s home, Zororai and New Hope old people’s home.
