local Josephine NyamwanzaThe ZimFund, an organization mandated to channel financial assistance to development efforts in Zimbabwe by mobilizing donor resources and promoting donor coordination has commended City of Mutare for working to ensure sufficient water supply to Mutare residents under the Urgent Water Supply and Sanitation Project (UWSSP) they jointly implemented. ZimFund Manager Mr. Emmanuel Nzabanita said they are impressed by the good work that City of Mutare carried out on the Dangamvura Water Pipeline Project. ZimFund water and sanitation consolidation works project was meant to resuscitate and regain the capacities of the water and wastewater treatment facilities, restoring and stabilizing service delivery through strengthening the networks and giving sustained institutional support.
